And then to relax me I spent last week making a clock for my self, if I had to do it again would get some plain gloss varnish not sparkly but it suits the theme

It was my birthday at the beginning of the week, I also share this with my cousin, I decided to make her card this year, after finding out her favoutite colour is green I came up with this

It's late and I can't sleep, is often a problem I have so I instead of just lying here tossing and turning thought I would add a few posts to my new blog.
Here is another of my recent makes.
The base is an 8*8 card, I first cut a heart out at a jaunty angle and placed pink pearlescent card in the inside of the card. I cut a second heart from the pink cardstock and backed that with white card. I'm
I then embossed the card with cracked ice embossing folder. I placed the second heart point to point with the first.
I then cut out a couple of flourish dies the birds and bow and the sentiment in the remainder of the pink card stock. ( like most crafters I hate waste. So I try to use as much of a piece of card as possible). I arranged them as you can see on the card with cosmic shimmer acrylic glue. My glue of choice for adding bits to card without depth, for depth I use pinflair or something similar or foam tape, foam pads are tricky for me to use but the tape is excellent.
I then added an organza bow made with the middle bow maker finally adding some faux glue pearls that matched as near to the cardstock as possible.
If you want me to tell you which dies etc I use please let me know.
Sleep well

Hi, and welcome to my little space, here I will show you my handcrafted cards, jewellery, home decor projects and the occasional baking recipe,
But for today and my first post on my new blog I want to show you some cards I recently made, but first just a little more about me, I have a number of crafty hobbies from card making to soap and candle making and lots of crafty bits inbetween.
I craft to help ease a chronic pain and neurological condition which affects the muscles tendons and nerves in my body, it's not always easy for me to craft so am hoping by starting this blog it will inspire others and also put a call out for companies to make equipment that is easier to use.
The first card is made with seed beads sown into the frame, bird die from Sarah Davis together forever collection. On pink pearl cardstock and silver Miri card. It is an 8 by 8 card. To cut my dies I use the big blue die cutting machine. It is electric die cutting machine the same as cut n boss. When I first used the big blue it chewed up and cut my embossing mat instead of embossing the dies. So after playing around I found it needed a thicker embossing mat not had a problem with it ever since.
In fact it gets better the more I use it. It's my go to machine despite having others, but it's the easiest I have found that I can use without hands, wrists and arms hurting.
